The Revolution in February 1917 and the "Way of February"

The conference discussed the causes and the driving forces of the revolution in February 1917. Researchers presented studies about the different political parties and there programms, about alternative scenarios and possibilities, not realized until October 1917.

Other speakers showed how the revolution were reflected in different social groups und how the interpretation changed in the last century. One of the organizers, Konstantin Morosov, presented his point of view in the conference of the RLS about the non-bolshevist Russian Left in 1917, which took place some days later in Berlin. He is one of the authors of the book "Die russische Linke zwischen März und November 1917" (Karl Dietz Verlag Berlin 2017).
