Bill Fletcher Jr. on Black Marxism

Bill Fletcher is a veteran in the US labor movement. He served as senior staffperson in the AFL-CIO, and is the former president of TransAfrica Forum. Currently, he works a Senior Scholar at the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) in Washington DC. In this video, Bill Fletcher talks about the Black contribution to Marxism, focusing on how capitalism is based on slave trade and colonialism, the relationship between labor and race, and the need to organize.
