Marx and Feminism

“I think the days of pitting feminism against socialism or Marxism are over,” says Nancy Fraser.

She is Professor of Political and Social Science and Professor of Philosophy at The New School for Social Research in New York. Her work revolves around feminism, feminist theory, and the women’s movement, as well as their connection to social inequality. In this video, Nancy Fraser talks about Marx and Engels, the fundamental role of reproductive labor, women in the labor force, precarity, and the need to overcome “progressive neoliberalism.”
