The critique of the neoliberal market religion and human rights from Marx
The critique of the neoliberal market religion and human rights from Marx, by Franz Hinkelammert.
From the current world situation, it seems opportune to discuss from the axial points of the criticism of the market religion that Marx makes from Feuerbach. At the center of his criticism and at the same time the starting point of it is his humanism, which is a humanism of praxis. Being humanism from the praxis, it has its criterion of the truth in the own human praxis. This is what Marx says when he says: the human being is the supreme being for the human being. That implies: The market is for the human being, and not human for the market. The human being is not for capital and its maximization of profits, but capital is for the human being. However, a completely opposite market religion has developed.
